MEMO TO: Clerk-Adminlslrator and City Council <br />FROM: Planning/Engineering Technician <br />DATE: September 7, 1983 <br />SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF FILING REQUIREMENT <br />FOR MINOR SUBDIVISION <br />Attached for your review 1s a request from Lorraine Bonin for a <br />time extension for the filing of a minor subdivision. The minor <br />subdivision was previously approved by the City Council on March <br />23, 1981. A copy of the approved survey is attached. Please <br />note that the subdivision approval did include a five (5) foot <br />variance for existing house (10' required, 5' given) in order to <br />make the new lot conform to width requirements. <br />The Council recently denied a similar request made earlier this <br />year in resolution No. 1480, attached. Staff has taken the lib- <br />erty of drafting a similar resolution of denial for the request. <br />Should you have any questions or need additional background <br />information, please contact me at my office. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Adopt proposed Resolution No. 1651 of denial <br />unless the other action is preferred. <br />/bc <br />Attachment <br />
