If resurfacing work is deleted the estimated <br />cost .:cold be ecc,500. <br />4. Attend the October 26, 1983 MSA screening committee meeting <br />in Brainerd, Minnesota to present• the City's case. <br />5. If items 1 and 2 above are not successful then focus effort <br />on getting a County Road I project started as soon as possible <br />(before June 30, 1984). <br />6. Staff learned at the October 4, 1983 meeting that by filing <br />a simple request by December 15, 1983 that up to 25 percent <br />of the annual MSA allotment can be used for "maintenance" <br />activities including resurfacing, patching, seal coating, <br />street sweeping, streetlights (electrical), and storm sewer <br />cleaning. The 1983 maintenance allotment was $10,215. If <br />no reductions are made in 1984, then up to $47,750 could be <br />made available for maintenance on the MSA system. A detailed <br />"Annual Maintenance Expenditure Report" would have to be <br />filed at the end of each year.
