A <br />MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Clerk -Administrator - <br />DATE: October 10, 1983 v \ <br />SUBJECT: MOUNDS VIEW SCHOOL DISTRICT GRANT APPLICATION FOR <br />CHRONIC ABSENTEEISM PROJECT <br />Attached please find material received from the Metropolitan Council <br />regarding the application of the Mounds View School District for <br />funding under the Minnesota Department of Health, Maternal and Child <br />Health Special Project Fund. The project proposed by the Mounds View <br />School District is for the development of a program focusing on the <br />prevention of chronic absenteeism in schools. <br />The Metropolitan Council is requesting comments from the City on this <br />proposed project and staff would request Council direction on this <br />matter. <br />DFP/pf <br />4 Attachment <br />
