MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Clerk-Administrato/r/ <br />DATE: October 11, 1983 C <br />SUBJECT: COUNTY ROAD J <br />Attached please find correspondence from Shoreview City Manager <br />Gary Dickson regarding a meeting on the evening of August 30th <br />where representatives of interested communities were present to <br />discuss the condition of County Road J in Ramsey County/85th Street <br />in Anoka County and the need for improvements along that road. <br />Included with the correspondence from Mr. Dickson is a proposed <br />resolution for adoption by each of the cities that attended this <br />meeting,which was prepared by Mr. Dickson in consultation with <br />this office, which encourages the engineers' offices of Ramsey <br />County and Anoka County to work together in the areas of planning <br />and improving County Road J/85th Street. The resolution also <br />recommends that these agencies work in conjunction with the Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation on these matters. The last item was <br />added as it was felt that such coordination would be appropriate <br />in view of the efforts of MnDOT in developing new Highway 10. <br />Attached to these materials is Resolution No. 1671, Resolution <br />Encouraging the Consideration of Improvements to County Road J/ <br />85th Street by Anoka and Ramsey Counties. <br />DFP/pf <br />Attachments <br />
