Call to Order <br />Mayor McCarty at 7:30 PM on October 10, 1983. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Hankner, Blanchard, 2. Roll Call <br />150ty, Lin a an Mayor McCarty. <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Meyers, Clerk/ <br />Administrator Pauley and Public Works/Community <br />Development Director Johnson. <br />Paul Wellstone, Special Assistant to the Governor <br />3. Presentatoin b. <br />on the energy policy, presented the Council with <br />Paul Wellstone <br />booklets detailing the Governor's energy program, <br />Regarding <br />and explained the Governor's community energy <br />Governor's <br />program, stating that Mounds View is one of 17 <br />Community Ener; <br />communities tkat-rs-inchx4ec-i�r-Nhr-sturiyr in the <br />Program <br />State that has been selected to start the oroaram. <br />Janice Thompson presente computer print-out s, <br />showing the data that Mounds View has supplied <br />as far as their current energy use, and the projected <br />future energy use. <br />Mr. Wellstone answered questions on the data given, <br />and stated they hope to get representatives of the <br />17 communities together by December to get working <br />on the program. <br />The Council thanked Mr. Wellstone and Ms. Thompson <br />for their presentations, and assured them the City <br />would he ready whenever the communities were called <br />together. <br />Motion/Second: Doty/Linke to approve the September 4. Approval of <br />2b i38 3 minutes as corrected.
