Minnesota 55102 <br />Phone (612) 298.4145 <br />October 21, 1983 <br />f)7 <br />z <br />Minnesota Statutes of 1982, Chapter 112.42, Subdivision 3, (pertinent excerpt <br />enclosed) provides that County Commissioners must select watershed district <br />managers from a list of nominees "submitted jointly or severally," by the <br />municipalities that are wholly or partially in the watershed district to the <br />county at least sixty days prior to the expiration of the term of office of a <br />manager. If no list is submitted, the County Board will then proceed to appoint <br />a manager through its open appointments process. <br />This letter is a reminder that the term of Lloyd 11. Scott, Sr., presently a <br />member of the Rice Creek Watershed District Board of Managers, will expire on <br />January 17, 1984. Mr. Scott is a resident of Mounds View. If the ten affected <br />municipalities listed below wish to submit a list of nominees for consideration <br />by the County Board, your joint or separate lists should be sent to me prior <br />to November 17, 1983. (Mr. Scott's name be submitted as a nominee for reappotnt- <br />ment).
