d ebro 0 <br />MEMO TO: Mayor and City Council <br />�• FROM: Clerk -Ad ministratp� <br />DATE: November 16, 1983 v <br />SUOJECT: STREETLIGHT REQUEST <br />Attached please find a memorandum from Engineering/Planning Technician <br />Kampel regarding a request from the Mounds View School District for <br />the installation of a streetlight at the intersection of County Road H <br />and the Edgewood Community Center parking lot entrance off of County <br />Road H. <br />As Mr. Kampel indicates, this petition complies with all the require- <br />ments of Resolution Nos. 1069 and 1354. It is further indicated that <br />it might be appropriate for the City Council to consider the effect <br />that this request may have on other requests to install lights at the <br />intersections of parking lots and roads. In consideration of the fact <br />that in those cases streetlights would be appropriate as a matter of <br />safety, staff finds the approval of this installation advisable. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends the Council authorize the installa- <br />tion of a streetlight at the intersection of County Road H and the <br />access road to the Edgewood Conununity Center parking lot off of <br />County Road H. <br />DFP/pf <br />Attachment <br />
