SPECIFICATIONS <br />FOR <br />PUMP MAINTENANCE <br />WELL 1,2 <br />CITY 01: MOUNDS VIEW, PJINNESOTA <br />GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS: <br />1. Description of ProjecL - These Specifications cover the removal, <br />inppection and repair of the deep well turbine pump. This main- <br />tenance project is for pump at Well No. 2, City of Mounds View, <br />Minnesota. <br />2. Location of Project - The well is located on City owned property <br />at 2524 Bronson Drive, Mounds View, Minnesota as shown on attached <br />sketch. <br />3. Scope of Work - The contractor shall furnish all equipment, tools, <br />labor and materials required to: move in and move out; disconnect <br />motor and piping; pull pump; transport to shop; dismantle for <br />inspection; detennine needed repairs; make repairs; return pump <br />to job -site; re -install pump; connect all piping, wiring, etc.; <br />test pump well to waste; disinfect well; and place pump back in <br />service. It is the intent of these specifications to secure a <br />complete job, and the contractor shall so perform, whether <br />specifically covered herein or not. <br />4. Pulling and Replacing Pun - The contractor shall furnish the <br />proper equipment to adequately pull and replace the pump without <br />doing damage to the pumphouse and appurtenances or pump. The <br />contractor shall repair any damage to the well site and pump <br />house. <br />5. Inspection and Repair of Pump - The pump shall be transported to <br />the contractor's shop, dismantled, cleaned and inspected for <br />necessary repairs. The needed repairs shall be determined and <br />approved by the Clerk -Administrator. <br />6. Materials and Parts - All replacement parts and materials shall be <br />equal to or better than the pump's manufacture's specifications. <br />
