-2- <br />Also attached to this memorandum is a copy of the Metropolitan <br />Airports Commission Five Year Capital Improvement Plan for the <br />Anoka County -Blaine Airport which indicates that an additional <br />$600,000 would be spent in 1986 for Phase I-B implementation and <br />$1,500,000 in both 1989 and 1990 for Phase II improvements. <br />Also attached to this memorandum is a copy of my Administrative <br />Newsletter dated February 27, 1984 which addresses the issue of <br />correspondence received by Representative Knuth from MAC Director <br />of Planning and Engineering Nigel Finney regarding the adoption <br />of the Capital Improvement Program by the Metropolitan Airports <br />Commission which included the previously addressed improvements <br />to the Anoka County -Blaine Airport for 1984 and 1985, and the <br />environmental assessment that the Metropolitan Airports Commission <br />will be conducting during 1984 and early 1985. <br />Should Council have any further questions on this matter or desire <br />further staff action, please advise. <br />DFP/pf <br />Attachments 0 <br />I <br />
