ADMINISTRATIVE <br />NEWSLETTER <br />February 27, 1984 City of _Mounds View voL. iv, No, 4 <br />1984 MSA PROJECTS <br />On Thursday, February 23rd, I met with Spring Lake Park Clerk -Treasurer <br />Doll Busch and City Engineer Joe Amerlick to determine if the City of <br />Spring Lake Park would be interested in assisting the City of Mounds <br />view by designating Osborne Road (County Road I) from Old Central to <br />their easterly city limits as an MSA street. This would allow the <br />City to designate County Road I from Highway 10 to the west City <br />limits. I was advised in this meeting that the CitbeoableringuLake <br />Park does not have excess mileage which they might <br />to <br />designate that portion of Osborne Road as an MSA street, however, they <br />are interested in assisting the City of Mounds view and will be <br />contacting the Anoka County Engineer on our behalf to determine if <br />the County has excess County State Aid mileage which they could use <br />to designate that portion of the road as a County State Aid highway. <br />he <br />Once we.retenveLakeeParkSewerwill om hknowuwhether nty on tor not uwetwill mbehable <br />City de Spring on County Road I west of silver Lake Road. <br />to undertake an MSA project <br />Staff will provide further updates on this matter as information <br />becomes available. <br />ANOKA COUNTY-BLAINE AIRPORT <br />As I indicated at the Agenda Session on February 21st, I had received <br />a call from State Representative Dan Knuth indicating that he had <br />received correspondence from Mr. Nigel Finney of the Metropolitan <br />Airportscolbe consipolitan Airports <br />deringindicating tthe adoption ohat the full 1ftaoCapital Improvement <br />Comizis owouldin <br />Program on February 21st which would provide for the first step Master <br />the upgrading of the Airport pursuant to the recently adopted Master <br />Plan. I have received a copy of the attachedl,dand eupon rreviewingeit <br />Knuth received from Mr. Finney, copy <br />it is clear that the information being communicated in this letter <br />refers to information staff received at a January 3, 1984 meeting of <br />the Metropolitan Airports Commission Operations and Environmental <br />Committee and which was communicated to you in a memo dated January 3, <br />1984. <br />
