He feels this is totally <br />attributable to propane and resulted in a $175 <br />reduction in what• would have been the maintenance <br />cost for this vehicle using gasoline. <br />The Mechanic has reported that those vehicles converted to <br />propane have increased power, run and idle smoother, require <br />fewer oil changes and tune-ups, and have all around better <br />performance. Also, the engines run cooler especially in hot <br />weather which helps to reduce wear particularly on our squad <br />cars.
