2200 HIGHWAY 10 MOUNDS VIEW, MINNESOTA 55112
SUPPER CLUB 784.7350 LANES 780-2900
May 3, 1984 (14 3 4
568
!ic4
City of Mounds View N RECEIVED
Ramsey County, Minnesota CITY OF
1401 Highway 10 d MOUNDS VIEW
Mounds View, Minnesota 55119
Attn: Steve Rose and Members of the City Council Ol6la\`
Reference: Curbing
As you know, we have a bond issued on our parking lot curbing. We have been
postponing the installment of permanent curbing because we hope to expand
our parking facilities.
The Herb`St family owns the land directly behind the west portion of our parking
lot. We feel it would be beneficial to our business to expand our parking, and
Mr. Herbst, Sr„ has agreed to give us first option to purchase the property -
which we hope to do in the very near future.
The southeast portion of our lot is where North Suburban Rent All is located.
The owners of the Rent All are considering relocation for expansion purposes.
We feel that if we could purchase that parcel of land, we could greatly enhance
the appearance of our building as well as the view from the intersection of
County Road H and Hwy #10, This would be done through the landscaping of grass,
trees and rock. The owners of the Rent All have also promised us first option
to buy their property at said location.
With first option to purchase two parcels of land which are crucial to the growth
of our business, we would rather not incur the expense of installing permanent
curbing at this time. Therefore, we ask permission to keep the temporary curbing
that we now have. We feel it has served the purpose well for the past years, and
will suit the needs of our future plans as well.
Res tfully,
,
Daniel L. Hall
Owner
OLH:bg
cc: file
