c '�47L e <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1857 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING <br />OL <br />BUSINESS ADVISORS, INC. JOINT COMPARABLE TION IN E <br />COMPARABLEWORTHRSDATA <br />STUDY <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statues 471.991 enacted in 1984 <br />requires all political subdivisions in the State to <br />establish equitable compensation relationships among its, <br />employees; and <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Area Management <br />Association, the Coalition of Outstate Cities, the Minnesota <br />Municipal Utilties Association and -other related public <br />jurisdictions desire to meet the requirements of the law <br />through a joint job evaluation study; and <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Area Management Association <br />in consultation with representatives of outside cities and <br />after meeting and confering with representatives of <br />organized labor screened and selected Control Data Business <br />Advisors, Inc. as the consultant to perform the study; and <br />WHEREAS, the cost of the study is to be divided among <br />the participating jurisdictions in the following manner: <br />Each entity will pay a base charge of Three Thousand <br />Dollars ($3,000) and a charge per employee of Thirty-five <br />dollars ($35.00) per person. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Mounds View that it hereby approves participation of <br />the City in the Joint Comparable Worth Study to be conducted <br />by Control Data Business Advisors, Inc. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sum of $4,390, to be <br />allocated f_om the city Contingency Account based on the <br />above specified formula be transmitted to the City of Golden <br />Valley, Minnesota which city has offered to serve as the <br />fiscal agent and contractor for the duration of the study. <br />Adopted this of January, 1985. <br />ATTEST: Mayor ~� <br />(SEAL) Clerk -Administrator <br />
