MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 4, 1985 <br />1 PAGE THREE <br />Rather than taking any further positions with respect to the <br />Environmental Impact Statement at this time it would be my <br />recommendation that the City take a wait -and -see attitude to <br />determine whether or not the Metropolitan Airports Commission <br />is sincere when it states that it will evaluate all of the issues. <br />Contacts have been made with representatives of the MPCA in an <br />attempt to follow the Environmental Impact Statement Project and <br />make some preliminary determination as to the efforts put forth <br />by MAC in setting the issues. <br />DFP/mjs <br />
