NO <br />February 26, 1985 <br />Mr. Steven Thatcher <br />City of Mounds View <br />2401 Highway 10 ; <br />Mounds View, Minnesota 55112 <br />RE: LINDA GRANT ADDITION PRELIMINARY PLAT <br />Dear Mr. Thatcher: <br />I reviewed the above -referenced plat with Mr. Fred Haas on <br />February 26, 1985 and I also made a field inspection of the site <br />with Mr. Haas on September 17, 1984. Based upon my field inspec- <br />tion and the plat prepared by Hedlund Engineering, I would estimate <br />that the Ordinary High Water Level (OHW) of basin #62-170W is <br />approximately associated with the 898 contour. Since Mr. Haas <br />has stated that he would not be placing fill beyond the rear yard <br />20-foot setback line, he would clearly be above the OHW of the <br />wetland and no permit would be required from this Department. <br />The City's official flood plain maps indicate that a significant <br />portion of the lot is within the 100-year flood plain.
