MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCI
FROM: CLERK-ADMINISTRATO
DATE: MAY 29, 1985
SUBJECT: FIRE PROTECTION SERVICE CONTRACT
As you know the Chief Adminitrative officers from the three
cities contracting with the Spring Lake Park Fire Department have
been meeting over the past few months to develop changes to the
Fire Protection Service Contract we have with the Fire Department
for consideration by the respective City Councils in June and
submission to the Fire Department for their consideration in
July. Article 5 Determination cf Fire Department_Budaet
Section 5.2 would provide that the cities review the
Fire Department's proposed capital expenditure needs
to determine what items would be included in their
annual budget.
5. Article 5, Section 5.4 proposes that both portions of
the Fire Department's budget subject to the Cities'
