Article 7 Payment of Salaries and Insurance - <br />Section 7.2 would provide the department provide <br />the City with certificates of insurance showing <br />that the City is an additional insured on their <br />policies and that there is a 30 day cancellation <br />clause in those policies. <br />7. Article 10 Indemnification - provides the <br />department indeminify and hold harmless the <br />cities from any law suits resulting from <br />acts, ommissions, or negligence on the part <br />of the department. It <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff would recommend Council approval of the <br />Fire Protection Services Contract as presented and authorize <br />Staff pending approval by Spring Lake Park and Blaine to enter <br />into contract negotiations with the Fire Department using this <br />contract as our initial position statement. <br />DFP/mjs <br />Attachement: <br />I* <br />
