Mounds View City Council March 10, 2025 <br />Regular Meeting Page 6 <br /> <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn stated she would be attending a Mounds View Police Foundation meeting <br />on Tuesday, March 11 at 5:30 p.m. and then a Tribute Park meeting at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn reported on Tuesday, March 25 there would be a 3 on 3 basketball <br />tournament at the Mounds View Community Center. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn explained the Senior Resource Fair would be held on Wednesday March <br />26 beginning at 9:30 a.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn stated the Mounds View Police Foundation was selling little Grizz dolls <br />for $20 to raise funds for the police foundation. She indicated Coffee with a Cop would be held <br />next on Saturday, March 29. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom asked if the City Council would be meeting with Ramsey County on March 17. <br />City Administrator Zikmund reported the Council would be meeting with Ramsey County on April <br />21. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom reported he attended a Regional Council of Mayors meeting earlier in the day <br />where the group received an update from ICE and the BCA. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom stated he attended a nine-hour clemency meeting last Friday. <br /> <br />Mayor Lindstrom indicated the Community Engagement Committee met last week and will <br />continue to meet on even months for the remainder of 2025. <br /> <br />B. Reports of Staff. <br /> <br />Finance Director Bauman reported the City’s audit was now complete. <br /> <br />Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson discussed the summer programming that <br />would be offered in the City’s parks this summer. He reported the Explore More Summer Camp <br />would be held June 9 through August 27. <br /> <br />Public Works/Parks and Recreation Director Peterson explained the City did not have any lead <br />pipe service lines, but noted testing was still required for 15 houses built from 1983 and 1985. <br /> <br />• Discuss Special Meeting Dates for Continuation of 2026-2028 Strategic <br />Plan Update <br /> <br />City Administrator Zikmund questioned when the Council wanted to meet again to continue <br />discussions on the 2026-2028 strategic plan. <br /> <br />Council Member Clark supported the Council hold this meeting on Monday, March 17 at 6:00 <br />p.m. The Council was in agreement. <br />
