RESOLUTION 10073 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) 2025 TORO GROUNDSMASTER <br /> 4000-D (T-4) 11' MOWERS <br /> WHEREAS, one of the many responsibilities Public Works facilitates is mowing <br /> grass in City parks, right of ways, facility grounds and natural areas; and <br /> WHEREAS, has received a state contract quote for two (2) new 2025 Toro <br /> Groundsmaster 4000-D (T-4) mowers, from MTI Distributing of Brooklyn Center MN for a <br /> total of $172,618.26; and <br /> WHEREAS, a $7,000.00 trade in for the 2014 Toro Groundsmaster 4000-D has <br /> been applied to the final total of $172,618.26; and <br /> WHEREAS, $172,000.00 is in the approved 2025 Budget, Vehicle & Equipment <br /> Fund, account 460-4360-7030; and <br /> WHEREAS, Staff has obtained a quote for (2) new 2025 Toro Groundsmaster <br /> 4000-D (T-4) 11' mowers from State Contract Pricing #243333, MTI Distributing of <br /> Brooklyn Center MN, for $172,618.26 includes shipping. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> 1. Staff is authorized to purchase two (2) 2025 Toro 4000-D (T-4) mowers at a <br /> cost of $172,618.26 which includes shipping from MTI Distributing of Brooklyn <br /> Center MN to be funded from account 460-4360-7030. This quote includes a <br /> trade in of one (1) 2014 Toro 4000- D 11' unit #319mower for $7,000.00. <br /> 2.
