She also noted that the Festivities <br />Commission needs members. <br />Mayor Linke reported he had attended the Ramsey County <br />League TPPtind last week. Fie also reported he had <br />attended the Public works/Recreation open Space Committee <br />meeting with Clerk/Administrator Pauley, where they <br />discussed turning back Red Oak Drive to MOunds View. He <br />reported the County has come up with an estimate of <br />close to $4,000 to repair the road, and the Committee <br />passed a resolution to turn back Red Oak Drive to Mounds <br />View, without the improvements. He added they will be <br />going •o the full board next week, and will be writirg <br />letters to all the comnissionars, giving the City's <br />stance and asking for uhe road to be repaired. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley reminded the Council there <br />would be no meeting next week, which is the fifth Monday <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley advised that Mr. Donut is <br />planning on reopening this Friday, and they have passed <br />Zhe necessary inspections from the Health Department, <br />and they have filed their application and paid the <br />fees, and still require a permit from the City. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/Blanchard to grant a license <br />to Mr. Donut contingent upon the approval from the <br />building inspector. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Clerk/Pdmin:strator Pauley updated the Council on the <br />status of the Fire O:,partmfnt biAget and requests. He <br />stated they have asked for an actuarial update, and will <br />be bringing that to the Council. <br />Mayor Links closed the regular meeting and opened the <br />next public hearing at 7:42 PM. <br />Finance Director Brager reviewed the proposed 1986 <br />City operating budgets, and reviewed the proposed <br />expenditures and revenues. He also reviewed the <br />utility fund and the proposed increases for sewer <br />and water rates. <br />Mayor Linke thanked Staff for the cooperation between <br />them and the Council in working together as a team on <br />the budget. <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing and reopened <br />the regular meeting at 8:08 PM. <br />11.
