2.15 <br />2.15. CONFLICT OF INTEREST. Any officer, employee or <br />agent appointed by t e Council pursuant to Chapter 2.12, and any <br />member of a committee or commission who has been appointed by the <br />Council or Mayor, who in the discharge of his duties would be <br />required to take an action or make a decision which in any way <br />wVald affect his financial irterests or those of a business with <br />which he is associated si,aii take 'Ale iuii.Jwi!.y a�iiun�: <br />(1) Disclose to the Council or to the chairperson and <br />other members of the commission of which he is a member, his <br />participation in the matter prior to the time the matter is <br />considered by the Council, committee or commission. <br />(2) Remove himself in a manner prescribed by the Council <br />or the chairperson of the committee or commission of which he is <br />a member, from any consideration or influence over the action and <br />decision in question. <br />(1) Not appear before the Council or the committee or <br />commission of which he is a member on his own behalf or as a <br />re,xesentative for any other person, firm, corporation, <br />partnership or association operated either for profit or non- <br />profit. <br />Any officer, employee, agent, or member of a committee or <br />commission who intentionally violates the provisicns of th.s <br />section can be removea as an officer, employee, agent or member <br />of a committee or commission by majority action action of the <br />entire City Council after a hearing held by the Councl, pursuant <br />to written charges and at least ten days persoaal notic4, or in <br />the event the individual cannot be se_vei after due diligence, by <br />ter. dabs publised notice, o- both.
