6. 31 <br />Subdivision N 7. Pay tar Part -Time Work. If an employee <br />works on a part-time basis, that is less than forty hours <br />per week, his pay shall be based on the hourly rate computed from <br />the monthly rate for the position. <br />Subdivision 9 0. Termination. If an employee is <br />terminated prior to the completion of his original probationary <br />period or his discharge, he shall receive no pay for any accrued <br />vacation leave or unused sick leave benetits. <br />6.32. RETIREMENT. The mandatory rctirement age for <br />employees covered by this Ordinance shall be 70 years of age. <br />There shall be no waiver of this requirement without approval of <br />the appointing authority. <br />6.33. ABSENCE FROM WORK. Except as provided for in this <br />personnel chapter, no employee shall be paid if absent from work. <br />6.34. REST PERIODS. All regular employees working under <br />conditions wnen the use of a break period is practical, shall be <br />granted a 15 minute break period in the forenoon and a 15 minute <br />break period in the afternoon of each work day. Travel time, if <br />any, will be included in the break period. <br />6.11. JURY DUTY. Any employee who is required to serve <br />as a juror or whowho ununder subpoena as a witness in court shall <br />be granted leave with pay while serving in such capacity, <br />contingent upon the enployee paying to the municipal treasury the <br />fees received for such services. When an employee is released by <br />the Court from jury duty and there are work hours renaining on <br />the day of release, the employee shall report to his supervisor <br />for work. <br />6.36 RFSIUENCE. No municipal employees shall be <br />required to bzcome residents of the municipality at any rime. <br />dowever, they are encouraged to do so. <br />6.37. MiSCELI.ANEJUS RL;ULATIONS. <br />Subdivision 1 Travel Expenses. Cn municipal busiress an <br />employee will he reimbursed for his travel expenses. In order to <br />receive such reimbursement, the employee shall immediately upon <br />return to work, till out the appropriate claim form and sub.nit it <br />to the Clerk -Administrator. <br />Subdivision 2. Car Expenses. An employee authorized to <br />use his personal automobile on municipal business shall be <br />reimbursed at a rate to be established from time to time by the <br />City Council. Claims for mileage shall designate date of travel, <br />purpose of travel, and wiles traveled. (240) <br />
