70.18 <br />70.10 Emergency Regula'inns. The Council may impose <br />emergency reyuratioIs pertaining to the conversation of water by <br />resolution of the Council and by giving notice by publication or <br />by pustiny in the Municipal Hall and at such public places as the <br />Council may direct. Lawn sprinkling bans may be imposed during <br />the _months of May, June, July, August and September by the <br />c ►6)rks after he notifies the Clerk-Adminis- <br />70.19 Request for Turning Off Water. Requests for <br />turning off water mu,a he made in writing 10 days prior to the <br />time shut off is requested; otherwise, the owner of the premises <br />shall be liable for water usage until a meter reading is taken. <br />70.20 Right to Enter Land. The Municipality by an autno- <br />rized employee or agent shall have the right to enter and be <br />admitted to any lands and property in the Municipality for the <br />purpose of inspection of materials, plumbing work and fixtures of <br />all kinds used by or in connection with the water and sewer <br />systems. <br />10.21 Private water Not Permitted. WheneveE any premises <br />are connected to the municipal water system, there shall be main- <br />tained a complete physical separation between the municipal water <br />supply system and the private water supply system sc that .- .- <br />impossible to intentionally or unintentionally allow any water <br />producted by a private system to be introduced in the supply line <br />from the municipal system. <br />7U.22 Estimated Bills. Any water obtained by any person, <br />firm or corporation from the municipal water system which is not <br />paid for by the customer or user thereof by payment of water <br />charges or rates determined by a meter shall be charged at an <br />paid for by such consumer or user upon an estimate of the <br />quantity of water used as computed at the established race for <br />such purpose or vse, except that the Coun-:il may waive payment of <br />such charge where deemed by the Council to be 1.i the best in- <br />terest of the Municipality. <br />70.23 Rate Water consumption charges to consumers <br />shall become due and payable quarterly on a calender schedule <br />prepared by the rletk-4rlm4nistrator. Said water rates and any <br />surcharges shall be established by resolution of the City Council <br />from t.me to time. <br />7U.24 Use of Hydrants. It shall be unlawful for a person <br />to obtain water from a municipal water system hydrant except at a <br />locat ton specified by the municipality and only after obtaining a <br />permit from the municipality. <br />70.25 Separability of Sections. If any portion of this <br />chapter shall be held invalid, the invalidity of such portion <br />shall not affect the validity of the other provisions of this <br />chapter which shall continue in full force and effect. <br />7U.26 Penal Provisions. Any person who shall do or <br />commit any act that as lurbiddon by the provisions of this <br />chapter shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. (74) <br />
