Clerk -Administrator and City Council
Page Two of Two
November 21, 1985
If EESC had their building on a southern portion of the lot as
they indicated in Attachment 41 at the beginning of the review
process, I would have indicated to them that they would have to
put the sanitary sewer down the right-of-way because it's a bad
design to have the service line run diagonally across this
property. T,:e question now becomes, should EESC pay the esttmatej
additional cost of $1,400.00 to instal: the sanitary sewer line
in the street? Or, should someone else pick up the additional
tab?
EESC has indicated to me that the additional cost is not that big
of a problem because the City's SWM and WA17 charges were not as
much as tney eaL,a.atcd. In additinn, thev have already started
some earth moving work on the site, so that indicates to me that
they will abide by whatever decision we make on the alignment of
the sanitary sewer service.
Lction Requested: I request your comments on how EESC should be
serviced by sanitary sewer.
SWT/bac
I
j
