He also stated that they are meeting all the Charter requirements and he did not feel it was a concern in having an off year election. He stated that he feels that as long as the candidates for County Commissioner can get their literature out, the park department can also. Councilmember Hankner stated her major concern is in getting the information out to the residents. Bill Frits stated he felt the timeirame was very poor, and that for getting the information out, they do not have an organized political group to help them. He also questioned the thoroughness of the report, stating that there already is a drinking fountain at Hillvie,+ Park, yet the plan calls for the installation or, one there. He also stated he feels the residents should be given complete information on what the money would be spent on, and where things would be going, so they would know just what they are voting or.. Mr. McCarty stated that off year elections have proven to be undesirable and he did not feel they ' could expect a yood turnout. Mayor Linke stated he felt the newsletter should be cleaned up to make it more neutral, and that if the citizens are informed and choose not to vote, they have no right to complain afterwards. Park .
