ORDINANCE: NO. 404 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />5'rA'I'F. OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 4, SECTION 4.02 or 'rHF: HOME <br />RULE. CHARTER OF THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />The Council of the City of Mounds View does hereby ordain: <br />SECTION 1. The Mounds View Charter Commission met on <br />December 19, 1985 and unanimously approved an <br />amendment to the Home Rule Charter to comply with <br />the provisions of Minnesota Law relating to the <br />timelines for filing for candidacy for local office. <br />SECTION II. Chapter 4, Section 4.02 is amended to read <br />as follows: <br />Section 4.02 Filing for Office. Nu earlier than <br />#arty -ere fifty-six days nor later than twenty- <br />etght forty-two days before any municipal election, <br />any resident of the city qualified under state law <br />for elective office may by filing an affidavit and <br />by paying a filing fee to the .'ierK-Administrator in ' <br />an amount as set by ordinance have his/her name <br />placed on the municipal election ballot. <br />SECTION III.
