Consider,;t„, <br />No. 1 773, ratifying thu appointment of precinct and Resolutio„ <br />counting center election judges for the special county No. 1973 <br />election and city park referendum by Clerk/Adr.-ir,istratcr <br />and setting wage rates, and waive the reading. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Director Thatcher had no further report. <br />Attorney Meyers reported he had been forwarded a <br />lettar rece�_ved by the City from the owners of <br />the Bel Rae Ballroom, Mermaid, Donacelle's and <br />Loose Ends, asking the City to amend the liquor <br />ordinance regarlinq individual licenses versus <br />corporate licenses. He explained the owners ace <br />asking fur corporate licenses due to insurance <br />rates, but he would recommend leaving them as <br />inaividual licenses, making ene individual the <br />responsible party. e. reviewed problems that have <br />been experienced in the past with corporate <br />licenses. <br />It was the consensus of the Council to remair, with <br />the individual liquor licenses. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley stated he would invite <br />the parties to the rext agenda session so they could <br />discuss the issue with the Council. <br />Motion Carri• c: <br />13.
