He added that it is anticipated that many cities will cite the Mounds View case in thL future in their proceedings. Attorney Meyers reported he would be absent from the next Council meeting, .,nd Mark Karney will be attending in his place. Councilmember Blancharu had no report. 15. Report of Councilmeml Councilmember Quick had no report. Councilmember Haake reported she had attended part of the Festivities Commission meeting earlier in the evening, and they are interested in moving the date of the annual appreciation dinner to the Saturday night of the Festival in the Park, which will be July 19 and 20 this ye„i. Alice Frits stated the festivities Commission feels it would be a better way to tie the two day festival together. It was agreed that the council would discuss the issue further at the n.\,t Council agenda session, and Councilmember Haakc would get back to the Festivities Commission after that. Report of regarding the Anoka Chamber of Commerce breakfast Clerk/Admir.i tr on January 29, aL which Governor Perpich will be the guest speaker. He sdded he would make reser- vations for those Councrlmembers planning on attending. Clerk/Administrator Parley reviewed an Action Alert he had just received regarding the Governor's proposed budget cuts, and the impact they could have on Mounds View. no added Staff will be watching things closely.
