Call to Order Mayor Linke at 1:00 PM on February 24, 1986. The Pledge of Allegiance was said. MEMBERS PPESENT: Councilmembers Quick, Ilaake, liankner Blanchard end Mayor Linke. ALSO PRESENT: Clerk/Administrator Pauley and Public Works/Community Development Director Thatcher. Motion/Second: Blanchard/Quick to approve the 1ebruary 10, 198f minutes as presented. i ayes 0 nays Frank Blaziak, 5479 Adams Street, asked the Council's help in controlling the parking prcblom in his neighborhood. He stated they have had problems with the apartment residents and their guests parking along'the street and in front of the hLlmes in the area, and the past weekend someone had parked their vehicle in his driveway while visiting at the apartment building. He stated he had called the police and they called a tow truck but the owner did return for his vehicle before it was towed. He added in his case it could present very serious problems as they have a chronically ill child who has had to be rushed to the hospital and his car that niaht was blocked in the garage by this vehicle. Mayor Linke stated he had received Mr. Blaziak's letter and had discussed it with the Clerk/Administrator, Public Works/Community Development Director and Police Chief, and there are no parking signs posted, tnd they have met in the past with the apartment owners, Rho are not willing to make any improvements to their parking area, as it would involve a cost to them. 2.
