MENO TO: Clerk -Administrator and City Council <br />FROM: Director of Public Works/Community Development <br />DATE: February 26, 1986 <br />SUBJECT: WATtk TREATMENT PLANT NO, I CONTROLS <br />Attached please find a letter from Jim Budke of T.K.D.A. stating <br />that they will provide construction engineerinq services for the <br />subject project for a not to exceed price of $5,000. 1 do not <br />consider myself qualified to sign the engineering documents <br />related to control system specifirations. Therefore, I recommend <br />utlizinq T.K.D.A.'s services for this portion of the project. <br />The total estimated cost of the control system improvements is <br />$48,000 per my February 11, 1986, memo. This engineering <br />service contract. of $5,000 is included in the total cost of the <br />project. <br />RECOMMENDATION: I recommend hiring T.K.D.A. to perform <br />contruction engineering services for the subject project for a <br />not to exceed price of $5,000. Funding will come <br />from system capital improvement and maintenance account, <br />1700-122-4123. <br />SWT/bac <br />
