Ditch Maintenance <br />There are two ditch cleaning alternatives. The first <br />alternative is to survey the ditch, prepare plans and <br />specifications, bid the work, and then clean the ditch. <br />The second alternative is to have staff clean the ditch <br />and/or hire an excavator for less than $15,000 to assist <br />with ditch cleaning. <br />al Alternative tl <br />In 1912, the City cleaned the ditch on the southwest <br />corner of Lonq Lake Road and County Road H-2. The <br />total cost of cleaninq this 800 foot long ditch was <br />approximately $25,000. if this cost is increased <br />- 9 - <br />
