-13- <br />,0011 (k) office for Inquiries and Complaints <br />The Contractor shall maintain an office at some <br />fixed place and shall maintain a telephone therein, <br />listed in the local telephone directory in his own <br />name or in the firm name by which he is most <br />commonly known, and shall at all times during the <br />hours between 8:00 A.M. ar,d 5:00 P.M. on each day <br />that garbage or rubbish is collected, have an <br />employee at said office for the answering of <br />inquiries and by whom complaints may be received <br />from property owners and tenants within the City. <br />The telephone of the Contractor shall be or a toll <br />free number. <br />The Contractor shall maintain a written log of all <br />such complaints, the date thereof and the action <br />taken pursuant thereto or the reason for <br />non -action. Such log of complaints shall be open to <br />the inspection of the Clerk -Administrator or his <br />authorized representative. <br />(1) Method of Payment Lo Contractor <br />The City will act as billing and collection agent <br />for the contractor. Payment to the Contractor will <br />be made monthly based upon the number of dwelling <br />units of record in the City's billing for the <br />corresponding month being paid. The contractor <br />shall further itemize the monthly billing to the <br />Citv to show the cost of municipal pickup pursuant <br />to Section 4, paragraph (q) of this document. <br />!m) Adjustment of the Total Monthly Bid Pr`ce <br />Adjustments oc the total monthly bid price may be <br />made subject to the following provisions: <br />(1) original bid prices shall be firm for the first <br />twelve (12) months of the contract. <br />
