-17- <br />material as to the selection of the recycling <br />material handler. The City will consider <br />advantages to the hauler as well as the civic <br />organization and the City in determining <br />whether or not to approve a handler selected by <br />the Contractor. <br />(10) City shall receive all monies paid under this <br />addendum directly from the recyclable material <br />handler. Contractor shall be responsible for <br />directing the recyclable material handler to <br />forward all monies paid under this addendum to <br />the City. Documentation such as weigh tickets <br />and pay-off slips will be kept on file at <br />Contractor's place of business for inspection <br />and review by the City and any civic <br />organization involved. Additionally, <br />Contractor shall supply to the City on the 15th <br />day of each month a brief report indicating the <br />amounts of each kind of material delivered to <br />the recyclable material handler. <br />(11) Should the recyclinq program be unable to <br />operate due to no commitment of manpower trom <br />local City organizations, the program may be <br />discontinued on thirty days written notice at <br />the option of the Contractor. If the program <br />is discontinued, the Contractor will be <br />responsible for providinq notification of such <br />discontinuance to all residences within the <br />City, in a form/manner acceptable to the City <br />within the thirty day period. In the event the <br />program is discontinued, all items which Mould <br />otherwise bL- collected at the recycling station <br />-dill be placed for collection at the residenres <br />in accordance with the normal collection terms <br />of the contract. Contractor will collect any <br />such otherwise recyclable items in accordance <br />with the contract at no extra charge to the <br />City or its residents. <br />(12) Should the recycling program require that <br />additional stations need to be established, the <br />City and Contractor shall establish such <br />additional stations pursuant to Sections 1-11 <br />above. <br />(q) Municipal Pickup <br />(1) The Contractor will service, at no cost, all <br />City owned sites including but not limited to <br />City Hall and public Works Building. All <br />containers will be readily accessible to the <br />Contractor on the collection days specified by <br />the City. <br />
