KMD TO: Mounds View Parks and Recreation Cotrniissioners <br />FROM: Staff <br />DATE: March 26, 1980 <br />RE: Planning Update <br />Staff has been working closely with Mr. Gary Tushie during the past week to final- <br />ize the preliminary concept plans for each of our neighborhood parks. Because <br />of the delay in getting the aerial photos from Mark Hurd (recieved them Friday, <br />March 21, 1980) we will not be prepared to discuss the blob studies at Thursday's <br />meeting. <br />Staff has spoken with the City Council and would recommend that a joint meeting <br />be held with them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 1980. In addition staff would <br />recommend that the Park Courission schedule a special meeting or. Thursday, <br />April 3, 1980 to review the plans with Gary Tushie prior to Monday's meeting. <br />Staff acknowledge that Thursday, April 3, 1980 is Maundy Thursday and would welcome <br />an alternate proposal or suggestion. The plans would be available for review <br />for a Wednesday, April 2 meeting at the earliest. <br />Please review your schedules prior to Thursday so that a mutually agreeable schedule <br />can be attained. <br />
