PROJECT TEAM <br />Because of the diversity of technical and support skills required for the <br />Silver View Park project, our team has been developed to focus upon three <br />specific service areas: Engineering, Design and Support Services. <br />Mr. Paul Popelka will serve as the Project Manager and will manage the <br />Engineering, Design and Support operations. His experience includes <br />the coordination of several parks development programs. Engineering <br />Services will be coordinated through Dave Husby with Construction <br />Management conducted by Alan Gray. Design Services members will include <br />Mr. David Sauter, Mr. Randy Lueth and Ms. Rebecca Lutz. Mr. Sauter, Mr. <br />Lueth and Ms. Lutz have been responsible for several parks development - <br />related projects prior to and since joining the RCM firm. Support Services <br />will be provided by Mr. Paul Glaves, Mr. Jack Leaman and Mr. Jon Born. <br />Mr. Glaves serves as the Director of Planning and Development for the Iowa <br />office of RCM. Mr. Jack Leaman has 25 years of professional experience <br />dealing with public improvements utilizing the citizen participation process. <br />His Masters thesis analyzes his experience in the citizen participation <br />process. Mr. Born has served as a Parks and Recreation Director for 12 <br />years. In that capacity, he was responsible for the development of two <br />park systems; one in Iowa and one in Minnesota. He specialized in the <br />acquisition, design, development, and operation of municipal park lands to <br />include community parks. <br />Several of the project team acquired professional and design/development <br />experience prior to joining Rieke Carroll Muller Associates, Inc. Mr. <br />Popelka obtained experience in Florida, Mr. Leaman in California and Iowa <br />and Mr. Lueth, Mr. Sauter and Mr. Born in Iowa and Minnesota. Having <br />served as Community Planning Directors, Parks and Recreation Director and <br />private consultants, the team members have acquired an expertise in <br />maximizing the citizen participation process in parks planning, design and <br />develcpment. Public experience and exposure have provided the team with a <br />confidence and public presence which enhances the participatory planning <br />process. <br />10 <br />
