Design Consortium understands that the scope of
services to be performed in Phasc one is to be
prepared as three basic tasks:
WORK TASKS Task 1. Design and development of a comprehensive
Park concept for Silver View Park
Task 2. preparation of construction documents and
specifications associated with the items
identified as BIa (Did proposal, page 2.)
Task 3. supervision/construction management of
Phase one development.
RELATIONSHIPS The City of Mounds View will designate one repre-
sentative who will act as the client/consultant
liaison through whom all contacts will be made.
Design Consortium would like to emphasize the point
that it perceives the entire Community as the client
and as such would suggest that the project be handled
on a "pyramid basis". This "Pyramid" concept will be
detailed in the public participation section of this
proposal.
The Consultant Counterpart of Mounds View's
"Representative" will be Damon Farber, as landscape
architectural principal with Design Consortium.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION our role is to be an objective participant in the
design process. We believe that we can establish a
good relationship with the Community. Ideally projects
should meet the expectations of all participants. This
will best be achieved through a mutual willingness on
the part of the site Planner, the Owner, and the User
to become part of the same design team.
one of the more significant aspects of coordinating
an effective project is the inclusion of those groups
and personalities upon whom the project will impact.
Part of our role will be to assist the City of Mounds
View in its public participation program.
