The following is a breakrown of fees, schedule and <br />Fees hourly rates on a task by task basis. <br />We would propose that the greatest service we can offer <br />the city is to act in its behalf as an objective partici <br />pant. Our fee for preparation of total Phase One <br />services not including construction management/super- <br />vision is based upon an hourly rate of $42.00 per hour <br />for principal's time and 2.5 times direct personnel <br />expense for staff time. our fee is determined by an <br />estimate of the number of hours we feel are necessary <br />to prepare a quality product. we will work on an <br />hourly basis (utilizing the above rates) to the upset <br />maximum fee indicated. <br />We would prefer that Task 4 -- Construction Management/ <br />Supervision -- be considered as a separate item to be <br />calculated on a straight hourly basis. when we work <br />on such a basis, as opposed to a fixed fee, we are <br />able to reduce our rates considerably. Mr. Farber's <br />time will be billed at 135/hour, as opposed to $42.00/ <br />hour.
