City of Mounds View <br />-3- <br />January T, 1980 <br />B. Preparation of construction documents and specifications required to receive <br />formal bid proposals for Phase One Construction of Silver View Park. <br />I. Prepare construction documents for the development of Phase One to include: <br />a. Two baseball/softball fields. <br />b. Underground irrigation system. <br />c. Approximately 90 car parking lot. <br />d. Park access road. <br />e. Initial site grading. <br />f. Turf establishment. <br />2. Furnish ten (10) sets of plans and specifications for use by the OWNER. <br />3. Prepare and issue addenda, answer questions to all bidders during the <br />bidding period as required or requested. <br />4. Review the bids received in order to assist the OWNER in determination <br />of the low or most responsive bid and election of alternates, and recom- <br />mendation to the City Council for award of contracts. <br />5. Attend City Council meeting to present staff report on bid proposal <br />recommendations. <br />RESULTS: Final construction documents --plans and specifications (10 sets to OWNER), <br />assistance in the bidding process and recommendation to award bid. <br />C. Construction observation of Phase One Development. Periodic communication <br />with the Contractor and OWNER and visits to the site on the average of one <br />per week during construction to interpret design intent of the plans and <br />specifications; set up payment schedule; approve shop drawings; make general <br />progress reports; process change orders; and approve field changes. <br />RESULTS: Observation of construction progress on a weekly basis during the <br />course of site development --Phase I. <br />
