Civil Engineering, University of Minnesota, 1969 <br />Major field - soil mechanics, minors - geology and hydraulics <br />REGISTRATION <br />Minnesota and South Dakota <br />EXPERIENCE <br />Mr. Sunde is a registered angineer who has been utilized extensively for on - <br />site investigation work and evaluation of recreation and park sites. He is <br />particularly skilled in evaluations pertaining to large acreage recreation <br />projects. He is self-employed but used extensively by Brauer's on all their <br />park and recreation master plans where hydrology and geology work is necessary. <br />Self-employed Consulting Engineer 1972 - present. Activities to date have <br />included inspection of hydraulic structures, hydologic and hydraulic analysis, <br />groundwater studies, investigative reports in floodplain management, and soils <br />mechanics analysis and design. <br />Barr Engineering C;.mpany, Minneapolis 1969-1972. This work included inspection <br />and design of hydraulic structures including earth and concrete dams, erosion <br />control structures, and storm sewers. Other activities included hydraulic Stu— <br />dies such as floodplain delineation and drainage planning, groundwater analysis <br />and preparation of permit applications and reports for state and federal <br />agencies. <br />U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration 1961-1967. <br />Completed the Bureau of Public Roads Training Program, served as project <br />engineer for road and bridge construction in Idaho and Washington, and was an <br />Assistant and Area Engineer in Nebraska and Minnesota. This last work con- <br />sisted of review and inspection of design and construction of Federal -aid high- <br />way projects. <br />
