I-- the entire cost of operation of the Fire <br />Department ineludinq sa.aries, other, <br />compensation, repairs ar.d upkeep. The budget <br />shall also include the costs incurred by the Fire <br />Department in financing the spacial fund of the <br />Spring Lake Park Firemen's Relief Association, <br />such costs to be determined under the provisions <br />of Minnesota Statute 69.774. <br />5.2) Each year prior to June 30, the administrative <br />representatives of each City shall meet with the Fire <br />Department to review capital expenditure needs and to <br />develop a recommendation to be included within the Fire <br />Department's annual budget. These needs would be defined to <br />include any expenditures of $5,000.00 or greater. <br />5.3) The Clerk -Administrator of the City, or his repre- <br />sentative, shall serve on a budget advisory commitcee <br />consisting of like representatives from Blaine anu Spring <br />Lane Park. The budget advisory committee shall assist the <br />Fire Department during the month of July of each year in the <br />preparation of the annual budget for the succeeding year. <br />On or before August 15 of each year the Fire Department <br />shall submit to the City a copy of the annual budget request <br />for the succeeding year. <br />5.4) The following items of the Fire Department's <br />budget shall be subject to the annual budget hearing process <br />conducted by the Cities of 3laine, Mounds view and Spring <br />Lake Park. <br />(a) capital outlay - any proposal to construct a new <br />station or to purchase new fire apparatus. <br />- ` - <br />
