MEMO TO: Clerk -Administrator and City Council <br />f FROM: Direrror of Puhlic Works/Community Development <br />DATE: April 30, 1986 <br />SUBJECT: FULL-TIME TEMPORARY EMPLOYEE FOR WATER DEPARTMENT <br />The 1986 Water Department Budget inrludea money to hire a <br />full-time temporary employee for the summer. This employee's <br />responsibility will he to paint fire hydrants throughout the <br />City. Attached please find the application of Robert R. <br />Westerlund. He lives at 5209 Greenfield Avenue, Mounds View. He <br />is a graduate of Irondale High School and Anoka Ramsey Community <br />College. He is presently attending St. Cloud University. He has <br />worked with the City of Mounds View in the past as a rink <br />attendant. He has also worked with the Mounds View School <br />District in the area of summer maintenance. His performance with <br />Lhe City ut Mounds View and the Mounds View School District was <br />very good. <br />RECOMMENDATION: I recommend hiring Robert Westerlund for $5.00 <br />per hour for a maximum of 66 days. This position will start May <br />19, 1986. This temporary position is in the 1986 Budget under <br />line item 700-122-4123. <br />SWT/bac <br />
