Pete Rechtzigel as the Acquatics of Staff Memo <br />Supervisor, as a shared position betwean the cities Regarding Hiring <br />of Mounds View and New Brighton. of Aquatics <br />Supervisor <br />Motion/Second: Haake/Quick to authorize the hirinq <br />of Pete Rechtzigel at $19,000 per year, to be shared <br />on a 50 percent basis with the City of New Brighton <br />as per the approved joint powers agreement. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Councilmember Hankner advised Mr. Anderson of the <br />condition of Greenfield Park, which had experienced <br />a great deal of flooding with the recent rains. <br />She stated also that she. had observed youngsters <br />riding their motor bikes and tearing up the sod, <br />and also jumping off the bridge and pushing one <br />another. <br />Dirarrnr Thatcher explained the Public Works depart- <br />ment had just unclogged the inlet for the area, which <br />has helped considerably in getting the water to run <br />off. <br />
