1 e --- �1 / r 1 <br />Mounds View City Council ` April iv <br />Regular Meeting J Page ---- <br />--------------------------------------------------- ------- <br />fPark Director Anderson explained that Ramsey County <br />Watershed District is responsible for cleaning the <br />ditch, which they have not done. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley stated this has been an <br />on -going problem and they have not cleaned the ditch <br />in quite some time. <br />Attorney Karney advised the City send them another <br />letter, asking that they clean the ditch and keep it <br />clean, as the City could be held liable for an <br />injury, if they know there is a problem. <br />Motion/Second: Hankner/fiaake to have the City send a <br />letter to Rice Creek Watershed District as soon as <br />possible, requesting they clean up the ditch. <br />1986 <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Councilmember fiaake stated she would be interested <br />in seeing Grouf, W come in to the Park and Rec <br />Department and instructing people on the use of <br />the cable tv equipment which the City has. <br />' Park Director Anderson explained such classes are <br />offered every quarter through cummunity edu:;a Liv:i, <br />and he has taken three so far himself. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley stated that Staff will be <br />traired to operate the equipment. <br />Director Thatcher reported several calls had been 15• Report of <br />Public <br />received regarding the heavy rains and water Development <br />problims the residents were experiencing.
