Chain link fence for the Gale/Yost walkway. <br />3. Fire hydrants and panel truck for flooding ice rinks. <br />1. Bituminous Path for the Gale/Yost Walkway - The cost of an 8' <br />wide b—ituminous wa kway ism , U ( 0 linear ft. x $10/lineal <br />ft.). The cost could be lower if the work is done by the <br />contractor on the City street project. <br />2. Chain F,ink Fence for the Gale/Yost Walkway - The cost of a <br />chain link fence on thin walby3v i5 4: ann ions ;heal 1L, x <br />$6/lineal ft.). This cost estimate does not include installing a <br />concrete weed control strip under the fence. <br />3. Hydrants and Panel Truck for Flooding Ice Rinks - In order to <br />reduce the cost of maintaining ice rinks, a fire hydrant needs to <br />be installed at 1loodcrest Park, Lambert Park, Hillview Park and <br />Greenfield Park. The cost of installing hydrants, gate valves, <br />6' diameter ductile iron pipe, and appurtenances for the 1 parks <br />is $25,000. The cost estimate includes materials, installation <br />and labor costs. <br />i pa.. The City's green van which is used only in the summer is <br />to old to repair for this use. <br />Possible Funding Sources <br />The estimated total cost for all of the items is $39,800. <br />The original 1986 Budget included $3,000 for the Gale/Yost <br />walkway, The monpy was removed frnm the 1986 Budget and not <br />replaced. However, the money could be returned to the 1986 <br />Budget. <br />Developer deposits in the amount of $8,000 could be utilized for <br />these projects.
