Approval of <br />aye; ate, as presented, and waive the reading of the Consent Agenda <br />resolutions. <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motic Carried <br />Director Thatcher reviewed the proposal of Mary 7. Co^9id0PeLiun of <br />Nndercon Homes to construct six unit townhouses in Resolution No. <br />lieu of the previously planned eight unit condo- 2022 <br />minium structures. He stated the Planning Commission <br />has reviewed this and recommends approval contingent <br />upon approval from the majority of the home owners <br />association. <br />Marlin Grant, of Mary Anderson Homes, state;4. they had • <br />met with the condominium residents last Tuesday, and <br />16 out of 17 who were present signed the agreement to <br />change the remaining condominium land to townhouses. <br />He stated there were no negative comments what so <br />ever, and the one person who did not sign the agreement <br />chose not to because he did not sign things of this <br />nature in general. <br />Judith Maekel stared it was her husband who did not <br />sign, and while she had not been at the meeting herself, <br />she was concerned with what the ramifications could be. <br />She added she has nothing against what they are planning <br />to do, but she is confused. <br />Councilmember I!aake explained that the developer car. <br />only construct condominium units or townhouses there, <br />and nothing else. <br />Attorney Meyers advised Mrs. Maekel to have her attorney <br />review the association bylaws if she had any questions, <br />do it is not the City's responsibility or authority to <br />do so. <br />Mrs. Maekel stated she was concerned that there were <br />not as many street lights in place as she felt them= • <br />should be. <br />
