MEMO TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUN(CCIIILL�'//(���'J/�/� <br />�� FROM: CLERK -ADMINISTRATOR \J <br />DATE: AUGUST 7, 1986 <br />SUBJECT: CLERICAL STAFF ASSISTANCE <br />As has been previously mentinned to you by City Attorney <br />Meyers and myself, additional clerical assistance might he <br />necessary to deal with the additional workloads resulting <br />from the Williams Pipeline incident. At this time staff has <br />become bogged down with the process of attempting to <br />completely inventory the various documents we have received <br />as a result of this incident and prepare a listing of those <br />documents available for public review as well as a <br />confidential listing of all non-public documents. Also, <br />staff would like to place these documents in some <br />semblence of reasonable order so that they may be readily <br />accessed by all staff members needing to review them. <br />In consideration of this fact, I would request Council <br />authorization to secure the services of Ms. Deanna Mortenson <br />.o provide clerical assistance in placing our records in <br />order and preparing the appropriate inventories for a total <br />of 80 hours at a rate of $5.00 per hour. Her employment, <br />should it be approved by the City Council, will commence on <br />the morning of August 12th. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff would recommend Council authorize the hiring of <br />Ms. Deanna Mortenson for a maximum of 80 hours at the rate <br />of $5.00 per hour to provide supplementary clerical <br />assistance to the Administration Staff. <br />DFP/mjs <br />
