REEOLUTION NO. 2075 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />r COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINOESOTA <br />RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION AND APPRECIATION <br />TONY JAMBUR <br />WHEREAS, on the morning of July 8, 1986 the City of <br />Mounds View experienced a catastrophe caused by the rupture <br />of an 8 inch hd zardous liquid pipeline running through the <br />City and subsequent explosion and fires resulting in the <br />deaths of two Mounds View residents and severe injuries to a <br />third; and <br />WHEREAS, in response to this incident various indivi- <br />duals, organizations, and communities have come to Lhe <br />support and encouragement of the City of Mounds View and the <br />Spano and Balk families; and <br />WHEREAS, Tony Jambor has magnanimously offered <br />the use of the Bel -Rae Ballroom facilities at no expense in <br />order to stage a benefit dance for the Spano and Ealk <br />families; and <br />WHEREAS, such a generous gesture deserves public <br />recognition and acknowledgement. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br />of the City of Mounds View on behalf of the residents of the <br />City commends Tony Jambor foe his outstanding community <br />service and offers our heartfelt appreciation for his <br />unselfish generosity. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of September, 1986. <br />ATTEST: <br />Maycr Linke <br />Counci.lmember Blanchard Councilmembar Haake <br />Councilmembar Hankner Councilmembar Quick <br />Clerk -Administrator Pauley <br />
