AGREEMENT FOR COMPUTER SYSTEM USE BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br />MOUNDS VIEW (City) AND THE MOUNDS VIEW POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />Whereas, the State of Minnesota, Bureau of Criminal <br />Apprehension requires as a condition for the connection <br />of a municipally owned and operated computer system to the <br />State(s) NCIC System; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Hounds View wishes to allow the <br />Mounds View Police Department to be interconnected to that <br />system through the City's computer system; And <br />WHEREAS, this agreement shall regulate that portion o: <br />the City's computer system using the ENFORS System. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Mounds <br />View represented by the Clerk -Administrator and the. Mounds <br />View Police Department represented by the Police Chief <br />(Chief) herotiy agree to the following provisions for the use <br />of the City's computer system when law enforcement or <br />criminal justice matters are involved. <br />I. PRIORITIES <br />The Chief will have authority to set and erforce <br />computer use priorities when law enforcement or <br />criminal justice matters are involved. <br />II. EMPLOYMENT ACCOUNTABILITY ACCESS F.ESTRAINT <br />TRA NING <br />1. The City agrees that the Chief will screen and <br />have the right to reject for employment, based <br />on good cause, all personnel authorized to have <br />direct access to Criminal History Record <br />1-1/ Information (CHRI). <br />
