Page Two <br />INFORMATIONAL. nULLETIN #85-114 <br />December 27, 1985 <br />R. The county of financinl responsibility will need to authorize the deli- <br />very of services as defined in Minnesota Rules, parts 9525.0015 to <br />9525.0145 [Emergency]. Services will be provided in the individual's <br />home community and the county of financial responsibility will need to <br />monitor services provided to the individual. Federal home and <br />community -based waiver conversions and special project dollars will <br />fund the operating costa of services established by tine pilot project. <br />A pilot project may assist your county in meeting Welsch vs. Levine <br />compliance requirements. These pilot waiver conversions ore separate <br />from county waiver conversions and will not affect counties' waiver <br />allocations. <br />The Regional Center in your region may be contacting your county for pilot <br />project development assistance and support. Your county's assistance and <br />support is encouraged by the Department. <br />This pilot project is vi<wed by the 0?psrtment as a high priority. The <br />Mental Retardation Division and other central office staff will be available <br />to provide technical assistance and staff support to the Regional Center and <br />county staff in the development and delivery of pilot project services. <br />IV.
