RESOLUTION NO. 2109 <br />PAGE THREE. OF FOUR <br />WHEREAS, existing City Code requires approximately 25 <br />parking spaces per 1,000 square feet of building for restaurants <br />or 1 parking space per 3 seats; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission recommmends <br />approval of the General Concept Plan dated October 1, 1986; and <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View Planning Commission recommends <br />rezoning the property proposed for the light industrial building <br />in the northwest area of the site from B-3 to I-1; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends <br />.that the City Council retain another traffic consultant to study <br />alternatives for Quincy Street traffic; and <br />WHEREAS, that the Mounds View Planning Commission <br />recommends traffic control at the intersections of Quincy Street <br />and Bronson Drive, Quincy Street and County Road H-2, County Road <br />H-2 and Montclair Avenue (entrance to the Mounds View <br />Manufactured [ionic Park) and at the center intersection in the <br />proposed development; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission will continue to review <br />the number of parking spaces that will be required in a P.U.D. <br />context; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends <br />that th, restaurant meet City Code requirements for parking <br />spaces; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br />Council approve the General Concept Plan dated October 1, 1986, <br />contingent upon changes being made to provide additional parking <br />spaces; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />shall initiate the rezoning process for the light industrial <br />building in the northwest area of the site from B-3 to I-1; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />install traffic control at the intersections of Quincy Street and <br />Bronson Drive, Quincy Steet and County Road 11-2, County Road H-2 <br />and Montclair Avenue (entrance to the Mounds View Manufactured <br />Home Park) and at the center intersection in the proposed <br />development if the development is constructed; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />requires that the restaurant meet City code requirements for <br />parking spaces; <br />l <br />
